@OE I have to think about that one. Maybe you can give me some more details.

@dreamcop thats the spirit. We don't have the k\luxury of resting on out laurels. Its time for America but more importantly for Black America to standup!

@PCD I knew you would like that, we are so on the same page. It just popped in my head a few nights ago. I even had it worked out if it was Hillary "No bad news" HAHAHA I love the Wiz. I will watch it this weekend and sing CJ his fav song "Mean Old Lion" HE loves it.

@prettyblack or should I say Marvin. I hear you on that though, and now she isn't going to concede until Friday what arrogance.Be out Pantsy BE OUT

I just hope that now that we're in such a great position, people don't let the ball drop because then we have nobody but ourselves to blame.

LMAO @ the wiz. Well done.

I know I come at this from a different perspective, and I don't necessarily advocate voting for someone for anything else other than their platform, but I think it's more important that we agree on the same ends.

I'm frustrated by the comments about inexperience - just frustrated. First, the whole POINT of Obama's campaign is about having a fresh, new, untainted perspective in the White House. Those in McCain's camp need to be leery of playing the inexperience card because it really just serves to strengthen Obama's mantra about change. Secondly, and more importantly, George W. Bush was experienced, right? Um, ok - if the war in Iraq, an economic recession that people REFUSE to call an economic recession (et.al.) are all the product of "experience," bring on the one term senator, please. You know what, at this point - how about the Ice Cream Man. That mfer so damn loud, you always know where he's coming from.

There - I said it.

HEY JACK<

I don't really support voting for a candidate on anything other than their platform either. But right now Black America needs to take a strong hard look at where we are as a people. Ive heard too many folks say he's not black enough, if he was more this or that (usually equal to more hood) that I think its time to breakout the mirror and take a good look.

I gotta tell you, I haven't heard that one - that he's not black enough. But, unfortunately, I can so see it. It's like, it's never enough to satisfy people ... there's always something "not enough." Not enough time, not enough opportunity, you didn't give me enough money, not enough ... not enough. But on this one, if you won't vote for him because he's not black enough, you're not about platform anyway. Of course since he's my candidate of choice, I'll have to co-sign on their voting for him anyway. Otherwise, I'd tell them to stay home.
